Located in the northern Swedish town of Skellefteå, gscept offers educational opportunities in computer graphics, computer game engineering and set design & prop making. gscept is proud to be part of Luleå University of Technology’s world-class research and education. We offer programs and courses within the fields of visual effects, special effects, real-time graphics and computer game engineering.

The creative environment in Skellefteå is focused around the three educations that form a inspiring and quality-conscious meeting place with researchers, engineers, producers of digital content and traditional handicraft. The meeting place is called gscept and is based on the requirements of the industry with space for reflection, experimentation of individual talents. In order to always have up-to-date content, professional guest lecturers from the industry are used in the courses and help to continuously develop the program and environment.

All projects are open to the public, giving industry professionals and other students the opportunity to interact and follow the progress of individuals. This cultivates the exchange of experience building networks with the industry and across disciplines.
